The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Swarthmore College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in mathematics, beginning Fall 2027. We seek a candidate specializing in analysis with a possible additional interest in geometry.
Candidates should have an active research program that extends opportunities for student research. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence or outstanding promise in teaching in a way that motivates undergraduates from diverse backgrounds. The teaching load is four courses a year. Candidates should have a PhD in hand by Fall 2027.
